I am very happy to announce the Bruce Lee Stages of Cultivation Print.  We have been working on the design for months, and now it is available!  This is a limited edition print (250) that I will personally sign and number.  In addition, each print will be accompanied by a letter that my father wrote to his good friend George Lee.  In the letter, my father explains the meaning behind each of the plaques that you see on the print and his specific design instructions.   The symbols in this fine art print represent Bruce Lee's personal journey of self-cultivation.  Specifically designed by my father, the symbols hung on separate plaques in his Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute in Los Angeles.  The meaning behind each symbol and the print is revealed in the VLOG below.  I hope you will watch.  I also included a photo of the meticulous process involved with creating each print.  Special thank you to Ngauge and the people at Kolibri Art Studio for all of your hard work!  Click Here To Purchase.

Men's Health recently published a feature on the 100 fittest men of all time.  My father was number 2 behind Michael Phelps.  I was happy to see that to this day, my father's contributions to health, wellness and fitness are still recognized.  He was truly ahead of his time in so many ways.  Click Here to read the entire article.

I recently did an interview with NPR about my father, Brandon, my father's friends, the Bruce Lee Foundation, the Bruce Lee Action Museum and my life.  I hope you will listen!  Click Here To Listen

I pulled my father's translation of this beautiful poem from the archives.  I hope you will take a moment out of your day to read one Bruce Lee's favorite poems and reflect.  Enjoy!

Its been a truly memorable trip to DC. I met with much of the Washington state delegation over the last 2 days to bring awareness and rally support for the Bruce Lee Action Museum. However, the most amazing thing was that My father was honored by the House of Representatives with an official entry in the congressional record. All of this with the commemoration of the 39th year of his passing. It's overwhelming and truly special. I thank the US government for recognizing my father's contributions to this country and the world. Thank you to Ernest Baynard of Meridian-Hill Strategies for making this possible and a big thanks to Congressman Mike Honda and his incredible staff for bringing this to the House and making it a reality.   Thank you to Adam Smith (D-WA), Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA), Jim McDermott (D-WA) and Dan Lungren (R-CA), Loretta Sanchez (D-CA) and many more.  It was inspring to see  bi-partisan efforts made on my father's behalf.  I am truly touched and so honored for my father and his legacy.  I hope you enjoy some of the photos from my trip below (be sure to click on Part 2 for page 2 of the Congressional Tribute and for the rest of the photos!).  xShannon

Hi All!  Bruce Lee Enterprises has partnered with The Jabbawockeez and some amazing choreographers to put on a live stage showcase in Las Vegas.  Here is a sneak preview into the very first audition.  Some talented martial artists and dancers came out.  I will be posting more on this as we move closer to the date.  For now, enjoy some freestylin and talented artists.

This Monday I went on behalf of the Bruce Lee Foundation to Sacramento to visit and speak with a group of kids who are enrolled in the Kovar Mustard Seeds Program. The Mustard Seed School is a school for homeless children. I learned that if you don't have a permanent physical address in the state of California, you are not eligible for public school so these homeless kids sit around in shelters all day (if they are lucky) with nothing to do. So the Mustard Seeds School was formed to help get these kids an education. This is great! But these kids were not getting any organized physical activity.

Enter Sophia Powers, our 2011 Bruce Lee Foundation scholarship winner. Sophia saw a need and stepped in to organize a program which teaches martial arts to these homeless kids at the Mustard Seed School. Dave Kovar of the Kovar school of martial arts was generous enough to loan his time, his facility and his instructors to this cause and the Kovar Mustard Seed Program was born.

Unfortunately, it is a statistic that 8 out of 10 of these homeless kids will encounter an act of violence by the time they are teenagers. They come often times from turbulent family environments and there there's life on the streets when you have no home. Teaching them martial arts is a great thing not only for self-defense reasons but for internal strength as well. The kids I met with up in Sacramento were great kids. They all were loving the martial arts intensive - they got to learn some very handy self-defense moves, yell at the top of their lungs and get a mighty boost of confidence from breaking a board, which they got to keep. They also had huddle discussions about positive attitudes, clear thinking and self respect. It was truly a great thing to be a part of.

For my part, I got to sit with them and talk to them about my father and his life story and beliefs. I handed out journals with Bruce Lee quotes inside, but the true gift was just getting

Happy Mother's Day to my mom, Linda, and to all of the mothers out there.  Have a wonderful day...you've earned it!

Hi All,

I went into the archives to pull original notes and documents that my father typed and used as his blueprint to start his school, Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute.  As an homage to the school, we partnered with Roots of Fight to create a limited edition tee.  It is available now in the store, click here

Enjoy the VLOG, and please let me know what topics you would like me to cover in future VLOGS.

Last week, I posted a VLOG of me reading a poem that was one of my father's favorites - IF, by Rudyard Kipling.  I asked if you all wanted me to read some of my father's poetry, and the answer was a resounding YES!  Thank you for your wonderful feedback, and in response, I chose one of my father's handwritten poems from the archives to read.  Enjoy!

My father was an avid fan of the spoken word.  One of his favorite poems was "IF" by Rudyard Kipling.  He had it put on a plaque, hanging it in our home as a constant reference and source of inspiration.  I pulled the poem from the Bruce Lee archives and read it in this BruceLee.Com VLOG.  What is your favorite poem?  Would you like for me to read some of my father's poetry?  Lemme know!
